Get ready to start the season with our traditional intro weekend!!! Join us from the 1st till 3rd of October for a weekend filled with activities designed to meet all of your fellow sharks and get to know the team outside of the pool.
Friday:
We will start on Friday evening with pre-drinks to relax, party together and kick off the weekend. For the pre-drinks we will meet at De Beurs at 20:00.
Saturday:
Saturday during the day we will divide you into teams and have prepared a scavenger hunt throughout Maastricht. During this you and your team mates will to complete different challenges and games in order to gather points and be crowned the ultimate campions by the end of the day.
After the scavenger hunt you will get a little break to rest and catch your breath before we meet up to have dinner at Twee Heeren at 18:00. Here you can choose between three different menu options.
At this point I am more than happy to announce that we will spend Saturday night with a real-life Cantus! For our new students; a Cantus basically consists of drinking beer (or alcohol-free alternatives), singing and a few fun surprises in case you do not stick to the rules. Make sure to wear your new Tiburón shirt or any other red shirt for this!
Sunday:
Sunday we will meet up for brunch to cure our hangovers from the night before with some food and will try to remember (or forget) all the things that happened the night before. Depending on the weather we will either meet up all together outside or will prepare a cycling brunch at different locations for you.
Overall the weekend will cost around 35€, drinks during the pre-drinks and dinner are not included. It is possible to only join a few of the activities but of course we recommend to join everything. We hope all activities can go as planned but as we have learned in the past year COVID sometimes gets in the way. However, if anything changes we will inform you immediately.
