The 23rd board of Tiburón has officially been voted in on the 20th of September 2023! To celebrate it, we will host our constitution drinks (COBO) on the 13th of October.
The Cobo will take place at de Beurs student café (Spoorweglaan 6, 6221 BS Maastricht, In front of the station) from 20h00 to 2h30.
For those of you who do not know what a Cobo is, here is a little explanation:
A Cobo is a party, in which every newly constituted board of an association invites its members along with the boards of other associations. In our case, the boards of all other sports associations from Maastricht are invited along with the boards of other swimming associations in the Netherlands. During the evening, you will be able to enjoy a party, while the other boards will give us a ‘gift’ of their choice, that we will most likely have to drink. Moreover, an old tradition called ‘brassen’ takes place during the whole party. Indeed, the other association boards will try to steal objects representing the association, such as the flag and the board members themselves, and take them outside of the building. If they manage to do so, we will owe them something. Thus, we really need you to be there to protect us and the objects as well!!
Concerning the costs, the Cobo is free. However, you will have to pay for your own drinks: 9 drinks cost 15euros there.
